Home and Ouch!

First i want to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. I had my surgery at 3pm yesturday, waited from 11 30, there was a tie up in the OR. When all was said and done i had a sore throat, was dry heaving, and had so much pressure and pain in my urinary tract. I was feeling so sick, they gave me percocet and that just made me sleepy and dry heave more. Well this morning i am still feeling very uncomfortable. The pain isnt as bad but it is the same way i felt when i have had UTIs in the past. Everything i read and everyone i talk to say these are normal side effect of the damn stent. So i just have to hang in there and stop complaing. I have to go in for my lithotripsy next thursday and then for the removal of my stent the following week. LisaMarie, I'm sorry to hear that you're still feeling sore. You know the reportable s/s so unless any of those appear, just hang in there. Time heals all wounds. Hugs to you, Amy

Lisa, I am glad to here it is over and done with. Dry heaving is the worst and boy do I know. You just want to jump out the window when an attack like that happens. Are you able to go to the bathroom ok, now though? Take the percocets and get your Zzzzz! Love ya.
