Hi Everyone ! Weigh in yesterday lost...
Hi all
I had my weigh in yesterday and I made my goal of 33 lbs. lost before surgery !
In fact I exceeded that goal by 2 lbs.! I lost 5 lbs. last week so this makes it 35 lbs. lost thus far on the Medifast ! Can you tell how happy I am ?
I was so happy b/c I really did not think I lost that much last week ! I had a really stressed out week with my daughter and my grand kids and I fed my emotions a bit !
I CHEATED ! I ate a little top off a couple pieces of pizza and the next day I ate a can of tune then last but not least I ate broccoli w/low fat cheese suace on it the third day ! Oh and a hamburg pattie (plain) !
I know I should not do this ! I did and I moved on but I struggled to get back on track after that ! I will never do that again !!!
I really thought that I would'nt lose the 3 lbs. that I was supposed to much less 5 lbs. I was shocked !
Anyhow , it is much to hard to get back on track after eating like that so I learned not to do this again !
I really need to learn how to deal with stress differently , so if any of you have any idea's , THROW THEM AT ME ! WILL YA ?
I have not been on the boards for about a week now due to being so busy with my daughter and grand kids, so I have to catch up on some reading and posting !
How is Christine G. doing since her ps surgery?
If anyone here talks with her please send her my well wishes !
I also have new's on my sleep study results ! I have sleep apnea ! The good new's is that it is only mild so the doc feels all will be okay w/out a cpap machine ! Yeah !
I went to the Hemo. doc too yesterday and he just took alot of blood test and told me he should have them back in 2 weeks so I won't know anything until then on what is causing the prolonged blood clotting !
I will let you know !
Okay , this has been quite a long post ~ Thank you for taking the time to read it !
Take care all !
and
Carol
Hi Carol
Congratulations on meeting your weight loss requirements!! That is awesome and it won't be long before you join us on the losing side. Keep up the good work!
When I get stressed, I just go out and walk around the house for a couple of minutes or get a glass of water. Sometimes, I pick up a book or crossword. Anything, other than eating, to take my mind off whatever is stressing me.
Good luck in all your endeavors before and after the surgery.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Carol,
YEAH that is just awesome hun and congrats on that. You are doing awesome with the liquids hun, better then I would have ever did!!!
This journey is about learning and we have some bad habbits that we need to break, it takes time. I have learned that if I mess up it is OK as long as I learn from it and move forward. Before surgery I would have just said the hell with this since I already messed up but life changes, we learn and grow.
Take care hun and please keep us posted with your tests.
