Hi there, I had my surgery on February 7th, 2006, and live in the Rochester NY area. I was wondering if there was anyone else from the area?! I've currently lost 23 lbs post op, and had lost 29.5 pre-op since attending the nutrition requirements starting on October 11th, 2005. (for a total of 52.5) When I started, I was at my heaviest, 323.5 lbs, I feel so much better right now, even though I know I have a long way to go. I look forward to getting to know everyone better!!!! Krista

Hello Congrats to be on the losing side of life and a great stay on your new lifes journey. I am still pre op but I am in Wayland, I have to complete a 30 week program for my insurancee company before approval. My Dr is Dr Johnson in O'Malleys office. If your would like to talk or anything give me a shout, the boards here are wonderful. So many wonderful people willing to help out when they can. And I have learned many things from the post here. Enjoy the boards and come often ( watch out they get addicting....lol) thin wishes and WLS dreams Tammy
