Miss you all
Hello to All of the AMOS Family:
I have not been here in quite sometime and miss your support. I check in once in a while to see what is going on, but haven't done much posting. I am going to try to stay more active on the board.
A lot has happened in this New Year, some good and some bad. The bad is that I had to have my little companion, Gizmo, put down on January 6th. We had Gizmo for 14 plus years and he was the greatest little dog I have ever owned. I sure miss him!!! My hubby said no more pets because he did not ever want to go through that again, but he bought me a Jack Russell Terrier for my birthday. That is good news!
Some other good news is that I went for my checkup yesterday and have lost 83 pounds since surgery and 113 pounds since beginning this journey. Also, I bought a couple new outfits for church and was shocked to be able to get into a size 18W!!! I also had to start Vitamin B-12 shots!!
Now I need to update my picture on the sight. Hope this finds everyone doing well. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Brenda,
Great news on the weight loss! Keep up the good work. I can't wait to get down to size 18 (at size 28 now). Sorry to hear about your Gizmo! Losing a pet is so hard. I've lost several over the last 2 years and it has been so hard. How sweet of your husband to get you a new dog for your birthday.
Hope to see more of you on the board.
Hugs - Robin
Hi Brnda,
It is nice to see you back here again !
Congratulations on the weightloss ! That is super !
I am sorry to hear about your little Gizmo ! I know the feeling of having to let go when you have had a pet for years and years !
It is very hard to let them go but I guess sometimes we just have too so that they can be at peace !
I will always miss my babies too !
Now you have another little baby to care for and to give him all your love ! That is wonderful !
Take Care and keep in touch !
and
Carol

Hi Brenda,
Good to see you post again, dont be a stranger now!
I am very sorry to hear about Gizmo. I have had pets all of my life and I know how hard it is to put them down. But 14+ years sounds like a wonderful spoiled lil life! hee-hee.
Keep up the good work w/the weight loss and take care.
