Almost there

Just had to share, I saw my surgeon this week for my check up and I am 9 pounds away from my goal. I'm feeling and looking great. I will be 18 months post op on 3/21 and have gone from a size 22 to a 10. It is both incredible and fantastic. And throughout it all my friends and family have remained supportive. I feel very lucky and blessed. Dawn 289/179/170 (soon)

I'm going to try to get on more,I think now is even more important then when I had first had the surgery to visit the site regularly, for the support from peers.

Thanks for the well wishes. You are right referring to the surgery as a tool, b/c that's what it is, and then it is up to the individual to follow thru with everything from exercise to eating right. I'll admit its not always easy to do the"right thing", but I manage and I'm very proud of myself.
