Did somebody mention Starbucks???

Hi Marian, I Love Starbucks also! Unfortunately so do my teenagers! Its at least 15.00 every time I go. I have even resorted to going without telling them! i have to smuggle in my SF NF Lattes in vanilla or hazelnut. Its funny before my surgery I could not stand the taste or smell of hazelnut. Now its one of my favorites. i know every Starbucks within a 15 mile radius of my house! I like the idea of making them at home. I'm just not sure they would taste as good. Hi Laurie, My son is the same way but he is only 3! I made the "mistake" of buying him a strawberry creme frap one day and now every time we go he wants one. Sometimes he just blurts out, "I want to go to the coffee store to get my ice cream drink." I created a monster!

Hi Marian, Me too...I bought an espresso maker a few days ago, and bought the DaVinci syrup and a metal container to froth the milk in. I get teased by my family for my latte addiction, but I tell them it replaced soda. I'm babysitting this week, so I haven't tried it out yet. I don't know much about lattes, but does it taste much different if you use regular coffee beans vs Espresso? I bought Espresso but they are a little expensive, so maybe I should try the regular coffee beans???? I just bought DaVinci syrup today. Kristine
