Debbie, Honestly I had NO pain just discomfort. I had them remove the pump in the hospital as it made me groggy. I took two pain pills at home and stopped as they made me nausious, and I really didn't need them. I know it sounds crazy but it was so much less than I expected maybe that is why it seemed so good. Take it easy when you get home and let yourself heal. I was very careful not to stretch as I was afraid I might rip something but I didn't. There was a bit of tightness and still is some but I felt great from the 2nd day. Was back to work 2 1/2 weeks post op. Wish you all the best Mary

Mary You look MARVELOUS! I notice that your before tummy looks just like mine size wise...did you apply for insurance coverage at all? This is the only way I would be able to have this TT surgery since I really cannot afford any out of pocket expense other than co-payments. I have my consult this Friday with my WLS. He feels my chances for insurance coverage might be better since I am going back to my gastric surgeon rather than ps. I am hoping I will find out realatively fast whether or not insurance will cover the surgery because I have to get my summer school work request in buy March 10th. I am really hoping and praying that I WON'T be working summer school this year! Keep your fingers crossed for me. Again, You look so beautiful! Hugs Marianne
