newbie here!

Hello All, So this is where everyone is hanging out. I'm new to this site and have a question. I need to start my 2 weeks of liquid diet and can't find a protein drink that doesn't make me gag or has the right ingredient combination. I tried to look through all the product reviews but I'm not familiar enough with the names yet to know what I'm looking at. I'm sure some of my confusion is due to being a bit nervous and wanting very much to succeed at this adventure but I'M SO CONFUSED right now! Anyway...thanks for listening and nice to meet everyone! Lisa, I am curious to try these. Where do you buy them? What flavors are good? I only like the drink the ready to make ones b/c I hate dealing w/powder. I tried the brand, carb solution, the other day and boy are they nasty. They take like paint thinner. My husband likes them so let me deal w/those. Thanks! Tavia

Hi Lisa (my daughter's name too ) It's so funny that you like the walmart Advant Edge!! That's the one that scared me when I thought they all taste like that.... I'm gonna have to send away for samples. There are SO many choices I bet everyone's head spun at first. Yes, it is an exciting time for me. I'm very excited about begining my journey. Go into Bariatriceating.com and you can order samples. I like the fruit nectars. They have a lemonade one and also Fuzzy Navel. They really seem to go down easier. Good luck with your surgery!

welcome to the board. I have tried a few but the one that i like the best and that mixes the best in my opinion is Jay Robbs. I get it at the Whole Foods Stores. Everyone has different tastes you have to try a few and see which you like the best. Good luck! LisaMarie
