Arm Lift done!

Hi everyone! I had an arm lift on Monday and I feel awesome! Very little swelling, had my drains taken out yesterday, and I got a peek, and they look awesome, even though they are swollen and I cant even imagine how great they will look when the sewlling is down. Didnt see the incision, my ps said that she didnt want me to see it because it's fresh and will not look like it does after it is healed. To tell you the truth Im not thinking about the scar and hope it's not bad, but I'm not going to worry about that. They are still swollen, but not much, the worst I am told is over. Not much pain, mostly burning in my arm pit area. I just take half a vicodin during the day and one at night to help me sleep. I get my wraps taken off on Tues and a compression garment in the wraps place... I cant wait to take them off... they are annoying. Other than that, I feel great! Like I said, no pain at all, just burning. I cant wait to take pics. If anyone has questions, let me know! Gia

Gia, YEAH I am glad you are doing well hun ~Hugs~ I can not wait to see the pics. In my research I did not see anyone have drains for the arms, hmm you know how I love those drains. Well email me and let me know how you are doing.... Debra P

Hey Debra, Thanks! I feel great. A little weakness in the arms, but it was expected. I hated the drains, they caused a lot of pulling and burning. It sucked when she took them out. I go back to work tomorrow and go to the dr on tues to take the wraps off which i cant wait. Hope all is well with you. Talk to you soon. Gia

I hope you are feeling well. Is this the first thing you have had done or have you dont others? Did you have to self pay? If yes how much was it and what was the name of your doc? I am not sure that i will need much done, but in case i do decide i am trying to get some numbers in my head as well as docs to check out. Thanks and again i hope you are feeling well. LisaMarie

Hi Lisa Marie, This is the first thing I had done, next is Tummy, boobs and thighs! I want to wait to have one more child before I do though. Dont want to go through all that to have everything stretched out again. I did self pay it was 6100 and my surgeon is Tracy Pfiefer in Great Neck. I went to a few and she stood out and was most qualified in my eyes. She is very thoughtful and very honest and tells you the truth, not what you want to hear. She also has called me every day since I had the surgery. If you have any more questions, let me know! Hope all is well! Gia
