How long do these darn things last.....for the past 3-4 weeks I'm weighing in at 224 - 222. It's driving me I mean really . I don't know what else to do, I'm eating, my carbs are below 40 and if I drink anymore I'll float away. I'll be 4 months out in a couple of weeks and if that scale doesn't start moving again soon I might turn . Please help. Pat

Pat, First off take a deep breath....You are doing good, sometimes it take a while for our bodies to catch up to our loss. Have your inches been going down any? They say if NOTHING moves for 4-6 weeks that is a true plateu but most are stalls, which we do not lose anything but still lose inches.... I wish you the best with this... ~Hugs~ Hate them... Debra P

Hi Pat, I know the feeling..I've been stuck for about 3 weeks at around 172-173. Once the scale hit 169.4 but it went back up to 172 and has stayed there most of the time. I try to get in all the water and protein and carbs are under 40 as well. I DO have to exercise, although I walk as much as possible, there is no structured exercise program. I hate exercising and cannot seem to get motivated! Hang in there, you will begin to move that darn scale again as will I. We've mostly all been in the same spot at some point of our losing lives. Hey Pat, I found that after the first couple of months after surgery, I would lose weight is "spurts".......I would stay the same for 3-5 weeks, and then get on the scale and be down 4-7lbs....Hang in there. As long as you are following the rules it will move in the down direction. Janean
