What is your goal?

Marian, That is good that you journal that as we all should be sometimes finding the time is so hard, but now I have made my exercise just as important as eating so we will see... 1.5 lbs is a great goal and very doable (if that is a word )...Good luck with all you do... Debra P

Marian, You are almost 6 months??? That is insane. Oh my gosh, how time as flown by. Good luck, I am sure the weight will come off by then.

Hi again , I am trying hard to stay on track--whoever thinks that WLS is the easy way out--hasn't got a clue--I don't think that I have ever worked so hard at anything--I really want this to be my very best success ! I am happy that these boards, and you wonderful people are out there to help me along. We help each other by getting good advise and opinions. Marian, YES this is so very hard!!! that is why I get so upset when people tell me that OH that was an easy out!!! I try to just shrug it off as ignorance but it still gets to me at times.. I am happy for this board as well and what a blessing to have found this!!!! Take care Debra P

Deb, lord have mercy with the 'easy way out comments'!! How can anyone think this is this the easy way out, I dont understand that. I cant even get passed explaining half of the structuring of the surgery before people cringe. Let alone anything else. It is usually when I get up to bypassing the 1st part of the sm. intestine and attaching it up to the pouch where the faces turn sour and they dont want to hear anymore. ha. It is ignorance. Stupidity and ignorance are a deadly combo.

Tavia, I know doesn't just burn ya with those comments, I want to come up with a piece of paper that I can hand to "that" person when they say that to show them ALL that a WLS person goes through. But then again if they are to stupid to take the time to learn about this then they might not take the time to read the paper. :shurg: Just something that will shut them up, ya know????
