I amuse myself!

To my friends! I needed to e-mail a friend that I haven't spoke to in person for awhile . My only exciting news is my decision to go for the RNY. So I put in the letter that I was coming out of the closet (if i could fit LOL) ! I told her that I just wanted to let her know that I was fat! She is very heavy too but it is never something we discuss. I hope she will have a laugh. I also mentioned my decision to go forth with the surgery. This was the first person I have told out side of my husband and parents (and of course all of you!)............Thank you ............Kitty

Kitty, Good for you hun and I hope it all goes well. I know sometimes people close to us start to feel jealous but I hope this does not happen in your case and that she will be very happy for you! ~hugs~ Keep us posted... Debra P

Good luck!!! I had a couple of people talk me out of the surgery the first time about 2 years ago. I am almost 2 weeks post op and I told those people that talked me out of it the first time and they all were happy for me. Just remember this is for you and your health not any of your friends...

Hi Kitty, I just did the same thing, emailed old friends to catch up tell them about the surgery. I came to find out that one of them had an RNY-LOL. I thought that was funny because I did not expect to hear that at all. I am glad he did it though. Kristine
