post op

Hi Just got home from my day of surgery had a lap band. I feel fine drinking sips of water broth and sucking on ice pops. Not too much pain. Much better then feared. The staff at the hospital were great and very professional. Couldn't wait to get home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to the new me...............

Hi Barbara, Lots of luck to ya! We live pretty close to each other! Just an FYI if your interested we have a great support group meeting the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 pm at the Children's Psychiatric Center in Orangeburg. All the best Marla

Congrats Barbara, I see your in Pearl River, I am a former Lederle employee and now I am at Novartis in Suffern! I had my band on 1/25/06 and I am down 34 lbs. It is quite a journey as they say! Good luck to you neighbor! Kenny
