Westchester Newbie

Hello Everyone, I have been visiting the Lap Band forum regularly and posting and thought I would check in with my New York locals. I am scheduled for surgery on 2/21 and I just wanted to say HI!

hi there ! lots of luck with your surgery. I attend a support group in Yonkers with many people who have had surgery with Dr. Artuso. I hear he is a wonderful surgeon! All the best of luck to you! Hugs! Marla

Thank you for your response. So far, I met him once but have dealt more with his partner Dr. Choi who is very informative and encouraging!

Hi and welcome. I live in Westchester also and have attended the support group meeting in Yonkers also. It's at St. Riverside Hosp. on the third Thursday of the month. There's a meeting tomorrow night, if you're interested and I think Dr. Artuso is going to be there. All are welcome. If ever want to talk, feel free to e-mail me. Joanne

I really need to get over to the support group only that I am working on my masters degree and my class is on Thursday nights. I hope I can go sit in class following the surgery!

Hi Needa and WELCOME! Good luck on your surgery - wow - the date is coming up soon! I had my surgery done by Dr. Artuso and Dr. Choi. They are both great and I think they are wonderful surgeons and wonderful caring people. You are in good hands! Robin
