Support in Rochester,NY

Hello everyone........i was looking for help finding the support group in Rochester New York.....I had my wls on 11-11-05 at Highland Hospital with Dr, O'Malley and was looking to find info on the support group there............and one got any info ?

Hi Darlene, The meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for February 14th at 6:30pm. Hope to see you there. Carly

There is also a great support group at Rochester General, open to all patients, not just Dr. Galvin. It meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Weiner conference room. We have a great time, and Galvin comes himself quite often. Topics rotate and you can call the bariatric office to get this month's topic. We have quite a few O'Malley patients that come. There is also a group at Park Ridge that meets twice a month, once on a Monday, once on a Wednesday. May I suggest joiing the WLS of WesternNY group on yahoo for all the support group updates. I am also part of a smaller group that meets a few times a month at a friend's house for exercize, recipe and protein sample exchangeing, and we go out for soup dinners, walking, and holiday get togethers.
