Queens Metro Surgical Weight Loss Support Group http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Queensmetrowls/ Because We Can Dear Friends, On May 6, 2006, Revlon is sponsoring a run walk for woman's Cancer. This will be our second time participating in this event. The Link for our team page is https://www.revlonrunwalk.com/ny/secure/teamwebpage.cfm?pID=24806. The walk is not competitive. Last year our team had thirty participants. In spite of the rain, we all walked and made it to the finish line. Last year we participated in two walks and raised an unbelievable amount of money ($12,000.00). What is more amazing is that we can participate in such an event. Without weight loss surgery who would ever have thought of participating in such an event. The energy that you get when walking with forty thousand people is nothing short of electrifying. I cannot think of a better way of saying thank-you for our good health then joining such an event. Please join your fellow surgical weight loss patients and join us in this event. Hi Deb, I checked out your profile and you are doing great. Why not get some of Dr. Garber's patient interest in the walk with us. Last year we had 30 people walking. It is for a wonderful cause. Regards, Lenny
