Hi all I am a former avid bike rider and looking forward to becoming a born again cycler. I had surgery almost 3 weeks ago and I am now looking forward to buying myself a new bike to replace my worn out Diamond back Mountain bike! Most of my riding is street riding but I do love trail riding as well. Best cycling trip for me was at Killington Vermont back when I was seperated a few years ago. It was a great trip for exercise/pleasure, and soul searching. I plan to go back this year! My thoughts on a new high-end bike are; Trek/Gary Fisher/Cannondale or perhaps a Specialized?? Any thought swill be helpful?? Thanks Kenny

Kenny, ~hugs~ good to see you..I hope you are doing well My hubby has a Kona and just loves it, he has the offroad/onroad tires that work together and they are just awesome. They are pretty light weight also. I am not sure where to get one here but if you call some shops they might be able to help, he is from Canada, B.C. and that is where he purchased it. Take care Debra P

Hi Kenny, I don't know anything about bikes, so I'm useless! But I wanted to say hi and good to see you're posting. How are you doing? How are you feeling? I bet you can't wait to get back to riding! Post an update when you get a chance - let us know how things are going. Robin

Stupid scale!!! It will change, don't worry. Remember, our bodies have gone through some major changes and have to adjust. Do what your doctor says and I bet you'll start seeing those numbers move down, down and down some more! Hope you're feeling well and doing well. Robin
