2-6-06 meals protein drink B 4 oz carb control yogurt 1 melba toast w 1 tsp p'nut butter L another melba toast w 1 tsp peanut butter D 1 Tbs refried beans with 1 chip S 1 c carb control milk (hot) 11 pm sf fudgecicle Well, my 2nd endoscopy went well. I was able to take my giant iron pill today with no feeling of it going down. I will have one more procedure done on the 21st of Feb and that should do it. I have a really nice doctor and team for this procedure. Will try to eat some real meat tonight and see what happens... LindaM 230/175/115

Linda, YEAH I am glad it went well hun ~Hugs~ I did not know you need another one? was that something that you found out about today? I am glad you are feeling better just from these 2 and to know it will be all clear by the end of this month. Take care Debra P

Ok here it goes.... meal#1: Whey Gourmet by PVL (caramel dip flavor)1 scoop (=23g protein) powder w/ 6 ice cubes water to fill Magic Bullet blender 1/4 c pumpkin (Canned 20 cal) pumpkin pie spice 2 shakes, 6 squirts davinics SF gingerbread syrup 1 T flax seed ground, 1 scoop upcalD powder (500mg calcium citrate) mixed in bullet! 1/4 cup mixed nuts. Meal#2: 1 english muffin w/ 2 tsp butter (carbs/bread NOT MY NORMAL 90% of the time!) 1 fried egg in pam, 1 slice am cheese 1 morningstar farms veggie link sausage...today I had off for school vs work, so a different breakfast can happen vs yogurt! Meal#3: Usual salad:2-3c spring mix/spinach/romaine lettuces, broccosprouts, 1 radish, 1/4 avocado sliced, 3 cuke slices, few broccoli florets, carrot matchsticks sprinkled on, w/: 2T sunflower seeds or sliced almonds, 1T flaxseed ground, 3oz grilled chicken/1/2 HB egg 2T salad dressing jalapeno ranch (lighthouse brand). 1/4 c diet jello 1 dollop vanilla coolwhip Meal#4: 1 golden delicious apple sliced w/ skin 2 oz colbyjack cheese Meal#5: 3-4 oz prk rib cooked in slowcooker and lo carb BBQ sauce/onions/celery, 1/4 c greenbeans, 1/4 cup mashed Rhutabega Meal#6: 1 scoop PVL whey gourmet (White chocolate=23g protein) 4 ice cubes, 3 frozen strawberries, 1 scoop upcalD, 1 T flax seed, diet strawberry walmart brand crystal lite to fill MB glass, 5 squirts strawberry sf syrup 1 squirt sf coconut syrup in magic bullet! Pure water total 8 cups (64 oz) decaf teas 3 bags, 60 oz water, 3/4 cup soy slender vanilla flavored beverage, 9 packets splenda total. Also took multivitamin (Centrum brand walmarts) Bcomplex sublingual (with 1,200mcg B12) ferrous gluconate 300mg tab w/ 500mg vit c for absorbtion in addition to 2 doses of upcald caclium citrate I do citrical 2 tabs are 500mg do 2 more doses 2,000mg total calcium a day. 2 stool softners (Colace) Slacked on usual routine exercise but got some in: took a lazy am to do computer etc before school, but ran on treadmill 30 min (@6MPH) after school before coming home. Deb: Welcome...i will attempt to post more often. I feel doing so can be very helpful to us all. I ask perhaps to help us all be successful/offer support if people could offer more info in their daily food postings. Meaning amounts of food eaten. When someone posts crackers or pretzels or a shake or cheese, it tells us all very little. For instance (not pointing to anyone person): How many crackers? how much/type of cheese? What brand/amount of shake, mixed with what? a protein bar, 1/2 of what size? many can come in different sizes. Nuts? (type/amount), soup: what kind/mixed with what? serving? etc... What are u drinking? Fluid types/amounts (caffeine, carbonation and alcohol), with meal? how long after? Vitamins what types/amounts? with what? MANY suppliments need to be taken alone (such as iron w/ vit c never with eggs, legumes, fiber, dairy, any other vitamin (B12 only exception), coffee/tea regardless of caafeine content or not) calcium should be taken spread out not all at once as body can only get 500-600mg at a time, one dose preferably at night when body is at rest to absorb, not with caffeine/tannins in tea/coffee, or iron as calcium competes and wins outetc. How much/type of exercise are u doing. I guess if people let us see a day in the life ...that would help us all. I found over time my cracker became 2, 4, 7, etc so we can help monitor that and so can others themselves to see how it changes. Looking to trends etc. Awareness of portion sizes and how they change, those dabs here there, can become 2 dabs, that splash of half and half may really be 1/2 a cup (I know so many discovered this self included!). I know for me in past attempts my portion sizes were so distorted... I beleive with the time and effort we can retrain selves to see what 3 oz meat is...but to check our reality from time to time may help, I know for me it does. Just a request, idea to see if this thread could be EVEN more beneficial to us all! And honesty is the only way we can be helpful. Thanks!
