Hi Kathleen: I think GNC may sell it (pricey some places is $2 a cup!) online (locally for us Nyers this place is great in Albany NY ships fast and no matter total is $4.95 S&H: http://www17.netrition.com/instone_pudding_page.html Stallone High Protein Pudding Introducing the world's first ready-to-eat high protein pudding. Designed as a healthy snack alternative - truly delicious, satisfying and guilt free. Each serving is lactose free, contains 20 grams of high quality protein, with only 2 grams or less of carbohydrates, and 2 grams of fat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ****Keep in mind this is still FOOD protein meaning it is not fully absorbed (as with RNY we malabsorb due to the changes in our GI system's) same as fish/meat/eggs/milk etc. as it needs stomach acid/enzymes to be digested/absorbed/used by our bodies and the bypass diverts that for a time...So it can just be an expensive treat, not one that will give you more readily (bioavailable) protein than any other source. I never tried it, for me I am cheap I guess, also it is a slider food (pudding that is) and give us little satiety in the long term, meaning I could probably eat cans and cans w/o being full. Now early postop it may fill but usually later on it won't so consider that also. Not a bad thing just be aware. A better ''treat'' I suppose than many other things, but a source of good usable protein, nope! Here is the Ingredients: Water, Calcium Caseinate (A Milk Derivative), Soy Protein Isolate, Soybean Oil, Sodium Chloride, Dipotassium Phosphate, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Carrageenan, Dextrose, Tricalcium Phosphate, Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium and Yellow #5. Calcium caseinate (milk protein) is a MUCH slower absorbed protein, so not best for Wlsers, the predigested whey products are the things we can use best, no digested needed so readily absorbed/used by our bodies! Even better than soy! BV of whey is 100% and calcium caseinate is only 70% and soy is 71% http://www.wheyprotein.com/sec6.html Read on: Q: Is whey protein a good protein choice following bariatric weight loss surgery? A: Following bariatric surgery it is important to follow a special diet designed by a physician and/or nutrition professional. Protein plays an essential role in that diet as it is the primary food source following surgery. Inadequate amounts may contribute to hair loss, muscle loss, and poor skin tone. Whey protein isolate is an excellent protein choice post surgery as it is very easy to digest and efficiently absorbed into the body. It doesn't sit in the stomach for long periods of time like beef and other protein foods that may upset the system. Q: How does whey protein compare to soy protein? A: Here are some of the differences between whey protein and soy protein. Whey protein is a nutritionally complete protein. It contains bioactive ingredients, like immunoglobulins and lactoferrin, that help support the immune system. Athletes prefer whey protein to soy protein due to its rich abundance of branched chain amino acids and its quick absorption rate. These are important to help repair and rebuild muscles after a workout or competitive event. Whey protein has a fresh, neutral taste compared and will not change the taste of foods you add it to. Whey protein does not contain isoflavones or any other components with potential hormonal effects. http://www.wheyprotein.com/sec_intro.html is a good site about benefits of whey protein! Kathleen, Yup GNC has it and it is costly. I have tried it. It was okay but, you know what, taking regular old SF pudding mix, put a scoop of protein powder in it, then add in Hood low carb ff milk and you have something akin to a mousse. A bit less protein per serving but less costly and more fun. I love making vanilla pudding with a scoop of chocolate protein powder. It is very yummie Sandra

Thanks for the tips. I am Baffeled sometimes by the protein, what is absorbed and what is not.

Hi Kathleen, i get mine at GNC when it is on sale and i use my membership card to get more off. I usually get the banana and i add half of a real banana to it and i love it. The lemon is also very good. I am not to thrilled with the chocolate and i love chocolate but it leaves an aftertaste in my mouth. THe vanilla is ok. Good luck. LisaMarie

Thank-you for the info. I WAS a chocoholic but I will try other flavors because I find that most of the chocolate flavors leave an aftertaste.

They sell them for 2.99 on drugstore.com. They used to be 1.99 there, went up to 6.99 and now it seems they are 2.99. Its the cheapest place I have found to buy them. I buy them in bulk from there. http://www.drugstore.com
