Hi I am home!
Hello everyone I am home and doing fine. I had open RNY and have a lot of surgical pain but the rest of me is great. The worst part was the doctor taking out the JP drain. 
It really hurt. I had lots of visitors and received lots of gifts after all it was my rebirthday! My daughter who was 17 called on Tuesday to tell me she was in a car accident (no-one was hurt thank God) she was afraid to tell her dad and she new I was in condition to yell. I wouldn't have anyway because the most import was no one was hurt. Then on Wednesday she called again saying she was in another accident. Again no one was hurt but come on! What is she doing to me let alone my insurance? Anyway I came home yesterday and am feeling good ecept the pain and having a difficult time sleeping. Thank You everyone for the support and a special Thank you to my angel Joan!

I am glad you are doing well hun and I am sorry to hear about the TWO car accidents, maybe she had other things on her mind, she could have been REALLY worried about you? I know that is not an excuse but it might have been 
......What ever the reason is I am so glad she was not hurt ~hugs~

I had my surgery on Jan 9th at Buffalo General. I was in Locport last Sunday evening having (actually watching) dinner with some friends at Catus something on Transit accross from the Fieldstone.
Anyway, when you are up to it, maybe we can get together and compare notes. In the mean time, rest and do everything the doctors tells you.

Wecome home you loser you ! I am so glad that you are doing well but at the same time sorry to hear that you have some pain , but I guess that is to be expected .... Right?
I am also glad to hear that your daughter is okay considering what she has been through with the car accidents. That must be very stressfull on you right now though ..... Hugh?
Well just take it one day at a time and allow yourself to heal !

Hey Chris!
I am sure you are glad to be home again but wow what a week for you! I'm so glad your daughter is okay. What lousy timing though...you sure didn't need that added stress. That JP tube is not fun! I won't even talk about getting the other one out....just remember to take your pain meds before you go in for that appointment....it does help somewhat! I wanted to give you time to settle in at home before I checked in on you and then yesterday I ended up going into Buffalo to my sisters again. When I got home it seemed like I had a million things to get done...that's what happens when I leave my house early in the morning! 
Today I have to head into Lockport to grocery shop and do all my other errands. I want to get it done just in case we do get the nasty weather they are predicting! Let me know if there is anything I can do....It's great to have you on the losing side! Relax, enjoy that lovely menu you have for the next couple of weeks...and enjoy the ride!
