HELP!!!!!

I had been doing great once I hit the 3 month mark 2 weeks ago. I've been able to tolerate more foods and I stopped puking! But I guess I got a little too confident because last night I took a BIG supplement (enteric coated SAM-e) and I guess that was a bad move because now I feel like I have something STUCK and even water makes me uncomfortable! I've been trying to drink water and hot tea to see if I can melt it or make it go down or something, but everything keeps coming back up instead! UGH! I wish I'd never swallowed that damn pill! Is there anything I can do to make it go away? I thought by now it would have dissolved, but something is obviously stuck! I'm at work and running to the bathroom every half hour hoping I can puke it back out! Vi

Vi, I had the same thing with a multi that my surgeon recommended and it lasted for a good 8 hrs but maybe you should call you surgeon to make sure because sometimes things get REALLY stuck.....I would have said try the ho****er but it looks like you tried that already please keep us posted and I sure hope you pass it soon ~hugs~ Debra P

You are so sweet, thank you. I spoke to the surgeon's office finally and they said I had to "wait and let it pass"... so that's what I'm doing! The good thing is that just before lunch I ran to my son's school to drop off his birthday cupcakes (he'll be 11 tomorrow) and I had to run into the bathroom to throw up as soon as I got there... well that's not the good thing , what was good was that I threw up A LOT -- not just the foamy stuff I was doing at work, but that EMPTY IT ALL OUT kind... you get the picture... I don't want to be too graphic. Now, a few hours later, it's starting to feel better, so hopefully the worst of it has passed! My stomach is a bit tender, but I was able to keep down some liquid so I just had a little piece of cheese (very slowly) with a little turkey and it's all staying down. Live and learn! I will avoid BIG supplements in the future! Thanks for your help! It means a lot to me when I'm in panic mode to find someone with more experience to give me some words of wisdom! HUGS, Vi

It took a little over 24 hours, but I feel somewhat "normal" again! How are you doing as a brand new postie?!

I'm doing well, thanks. I was hungry, but doing a lot better now. I'm in the 240's now, something that hasn't been seen in 3 years-lol. We were in Fishkill shopping today Actually we go to Wal Mart every Saturday, we have to grocery shop for my mother-in-law. I am glad you are feeling better Kristine

Wow - Vi - sorry to hear about this. I know it must have felt good to finally be able to eat a little, but boy, that whole supplement thing must have been just awful. I'm glad you called the surgeons office, but I'm sorry there was nothing they could do. That just wait thing is terrible. I'm glad you're feeling a little better after your "cleansing"!
