Wish Me Luck!!!!

Hi everyone I just got back from my surgeons office as I had an appt. to pick up my Medifast ! Well I start the Medifast tommarrow ! Yikes****** Wish me luck !!!! 8 weeks of just shakes and no food is kinda overwhelming , I must say ! I know.........I know I will be one step closer to getting my surgery and feeling good again ! I just feel a bit nervous about it thats all ! Has anyone heard anything on Tavia ? I hope all is well with her ! Hope everyone has a great day ! and Carol

Wow... that is a long time to be on shakes. I've never heard of a surgeon requiring that for so long. Is he trying to shrink your liver? I haven't heard anything new about Tavia, but I'm going to try to call her this afternoon. I'll post if I do. Good luck with the shakes. Joanne

Joanne, Yes he is trying to shrink my liver. I guess you could say I will be really prepared for the pureed only foods after surgery ...Hugh ? I bet that food will seem like gourmet or something after drinking these shakes for so long ! I have already read your update on Tavia and posted a reply. Thank you so much for keeping us updated . I can't get her off my mind . I,as we all do ...want her to heal and have her problems fixed so she can move on with her life with her family and to be happy ! and Carol

8 weeks is a long time....Good luck! I had to do it for 1 week and i almost died lol......No you will be fine. You need to find other things to keep you busy, thats the hard part. Hang in there, its almost your time...LisaMarie
