Tavia Is Out Of Surgery

Dennis just called me. It looks like everthing went well with Tavia's surgery. She's resting now. Now we all have to pray that all goes well when they start getting some food going through the new connection. Joanne

Hey all, Thanks for all the kind words... I'll make sure they get to Tav. In any case, she finally got her room after spending a few hours in recovery. I'll be heading back to the hospital now, but wanted to check in and give an update... looks like Joanne beat me to it. In any case, still don't consider us out of the woods yet until Tav gets home. And prayers are still needed that she doesn't get pneumonia or something like that that can seriously hinder her recovery. We don't need to spend a month at the hospital again!!! I'll try to keep you all updated as much as I can, but I can tell you this. Tav is pretty tired right now, but the girl deserves to be after having her FIFTH surgery in under a year!!! Okay, before I leave, I just have to say that Dr. Gellman is one of THE MOST compassionate AND passionate men I've ever met (and I don't get any discount or anything like that for saying this). He has a great bedside manner and we even got to talk about our kids a bit. Great guy. Anyway, again, I'll give Tav your regards and try to get back on here again. D

Joanne, Hi there Thanks for the update on Tavia. I will welcome her with hugs when she gets back and say 'WELCOME TO THE LOSING SIDE WITH THE REST OF US" I am sure she will come through with flying colors and have no regrets she has made this wonderful decision. Take care and thanks again Lorraine
