Anyone heard of Dr. Rosser/Beth Isael???

I have an appointment with Dr. Rosser and I was wondering if anyone has any insight into him. He came highly reccommended and I was wondering if his all they say he is. ANy onfo would be great?

John, I have never heard of a Dr. Rosser but I have heard of the bariatric program at Beth Israel. While I was looking into a second opinion, I was made aware of a surgeon who works out of this hospital who has had malpractice suits against him and a settlement under his belt. Usually hospitals have one group of surgeons who perform bariatric surgery. I am not aware if this Dr. Rosser is at all affiliated with this other surgeon but I would look into it. Good luck again. I heard good things about him. I think he has had WLS surgery himself. There was a article about him in the NY Daily News some time back. I believe he works with Dr. Elliot Goodman. Good Luck
