www.vitacost.com had them the cheapest last time I checked! I order from there a lot.

Debbie:
I do not buy B-12 dots, I use a liquid sublingual formula. It is cherry flavored. Spring valley I get mine at Walmart $6 bottle for 60 doses of 1,200mcg B12, it is actually a Bcomplex sublingual formula which according to much literature is better (taking B's together in a balanced format).
So 1 mo is about $3!

Deficiency and toxicity: There are basically no real toxicity problems with any of the B vitamins, even in large amounts, since the body readily eliminates the excesses. There may be, of course, some subtle problems from taking high-dose individual B vitamins for too long. One such problem with taking large amounts of a single B vitamin is that this may cause a depletion of other Bs. Therefore, it is best to take a complete B complex supplement whenever taking any individual B vitamin regularly in higher amounts.

The B-vitamins are a team, and work best as a team. Upsetting the balance by taking a lot of just one is like devoting all your baseball practice time to your pitcher. You might get a lot of strikeouts, but if anybody hits one, you are in trouble. No one player has ever won a World Series by himself, and no single B-vitamin can do the job that the whole "team" can do.
I have seen B12 dots in GNC also I think?

I would have to agree with Marian, I also shop at Drugstore.com....Good prices and quick shipping, they seem to have all the things I need in one place.

I just read your profile! You have done marvelous!! Congratulations!!
I have a question, since I read that your levels are always great -- do you take iron and calcium too? My doctor told me I didn't need to take anything but the multiple unless my levels came back low and so far they were fine, but I can't help but wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to take calcium anyway (being that women need it)!
And just out of curiousity (sorry for all the questions ) what kind of protein do you eat? I'm still going through the "I hate most food" phase so eating is a challenge since I hate just about everything including sea food now (which I used to love). Right now I do a lot of protein shakes, nuts, cheese and fruit.
Thanks!
