Kenny- Best of luck to you! If you have time, make some sugar free jello / pudding or pureed foods (not sure if you need this for lap banding) You won't feel like doing anything, and this would be great to have around when you get home. I put them in the little half cup glad containers and froze them-- Microwavable dinner! ;) Definitely bring your own pillow. I recommend magazines over books because it was too much of an effort to read much. Hugs! Andrea

Thanks Andrea, I've been enjoying the sugar free jello this week. I just bought sugar free butterscotch pudding and it stinks! Thanks Kenny

Hey Kenny best of luck to you. I hope everything works out for you and the other person. Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding. Best wishes for a safe and successful surgery and a quick recovery!

Hi Kenny, First of all, here's to a safe and successful procedure We are all praying for you. Gas-X, for the possible gas bubbles you may encounter. Chicken broth, for the liquid diet and it just tastes good and it good for you (I sound like a commercial) Walk as much as possible and sleep when you can. Ask the hospital staff for anything you need and don't forget to send them a thank you note afterwards. They appreciate the small things. If you have a roommate in the hospital, get to know them. I did but I neglected to get an email address and I'm so sorry for that oversight. Best of luck. Linda M 230/182/115
