It's close now just 5 more days for my banding! Today is last day at work for me and here are my plans for preparing for my 1/25/06 date. 1. Daily work outs at Golds, including an early morning work out this Monday befor I go to Hosp for the pre surgical testing. 2. Movies Movies Movies, I plan on seeing as many movies the next few days with my sons as I can. 3. Football Sunday, Go STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!! GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!! Since they beat-up my Giants! 4. Did I say Golds gym yet? Only one thing can make me happier than I am at the moment! Still did not hear from what I considered to be a special woman here on OH! Unfortunatly she still thinks I am a creep, very sad! However I will stick to my story, I still think she is very lovely looking and that is still said from the heart. No dear I am not a predator! There are men in this world that can compliment a beautiful woman with out any attached expectations! Be happy with your boys! 285/268/ ??????????????? Thanks for all the support! Kenny PS any suggestions for other possible preparations????

Kenny, Hun I just want to wish you the best again. ~Hugs~ Remember to take your own pillow to the hospital... I know for me it was the best thing to have....a piece of home/something mine.... I am sorry that some people can not forgive your sillyness and get past this but you can not change the way other people act, you can only work on yourself now.....YOU COME FIRST! Take care Debra P

Thanks kindly Deb you have been great through out everything! Did you ever find a support group as of yet? My group is kind of expensive, if your not one of Dr Kwons patients, to me $25 is a bit pricy! Kenny

Kenny, I am still looking and using this board as my support right now. Yes yours does sound a little pricy but I might just pop in some time. There is another one that is in Middletown and I know the leader is more into the banding so I am not sure about that one as well. Well take care ~hugs~ Debra P

Kenny, I have had to stay at hospitals before, here is my list: 1. ear plugs (too noisy at night to sleep without them) 2. favorite blankie and pillow 3. warm slippers 4. toothbrush 5. a book or magazine, if you aren't too stoned from the pain killers it can help pass the time. 6. comb or brush (some hospitals have combs but do not count on it) Oh, yeah, it is good you are doing the exercise. I am not doing as much as I could and let me tell you my brain is on overtime and I am not sleeping well. Exercise should tire you out enough to sleep and not be too nervous. Good luck Sweetie!!!!! Good luck to you, Kenny. I wish you a safe and speedy recovery. Don't forget to take some LIP BALM! It was a suggestion I got prior to surgery and a lifesaver for me because after the surgery your mouth is so dry and you can't drin****il after the leak test the next day.
