Tofu recipes??
Robin!
Hi, Just look at labels of tofu, not all are calorie/fat friendly...I think the silken tofu I liked the best...compare labels is all. As for reciopes, they are a replacement for any meat in any dish taking on the flavor so no real recipe needed! I also like the Textured Veggie protein products, like burger crumbles, or the breakfast links by morning star farms, watch many of the products are breaded and loaded w/ carbs but there are god choices out there and I tolerated the TVP better earlier postop than many meats...

Hi Jamie,
Thanks. I didn't realize there was "bad" tofu! I'll watch the labels to be sure. Great to know that I can make it just like anything else. I guess I just have to experiment. I have thougth about trying the mornings star stuff and some of the other meat alternative products. I guess it's all just trial and error and I have to try to find something I like and that will agree with me. I'm going to check out the local health food store and the vegetarian section in my grocery store and just start trying stuff.
By the way, your loss and maintenance is awesome!
