What did you eat?
Good Afternoon Everyone,
Thanks for your concern yesterday Deb, I feel much much better today. Just must have been really tired and I was very gassed up last evening. Anyway, I asked my mother today, if the money she was going to spend on me to get me a good water resistan****ch for work, instead would she like to give me the money to put towards my eliptical machine and that it would be much better in the long run for all of us, she agreed so now I will be able to get it much sooner. My daughter was soooo excited that I had put it on layaway. She had used them at the gym at school and loves them. She is trying real hard to eat better and is about the same weight that I started at and she is only 18 and a senior in high school. I would love to see her get healthy as well as my older daughter, she is also in the same range. Unfortunately the cycle continues doesn't it. I just hope that by the time that they have children, that they will be aware of the nutritional value that the foods they feed their families have and try to end this awful cycle that generations have brought upon them. Anyway sorry for the long post, here is what I ate yesterday.
Coffee
B- Choc protein shake w/8 oz milk, 2 TBSP peanut butter 1 splenda, didn't finish and I think possibly is what made me feel yucky later in the day, I think too much peanut butter
L- grilled chicken caeser salad w/swiss cheese, just a little bit
S- protein bar-south beach diet pb/choc
D- 2 oz steak (first time eating) beets, 3 tater tots, 1 spoon of mac and cheese
S- apple sauce couple tater tots
Ok enough tater tots for a while, they tasted yummy but not good for me
got some liquid in, not enough I am sure, did get my extra 1200 calcium in I take the liquid 2 times a day, I put 1 tbsp in a little applesauce and it tastes ok

Well glad to hear you are doing well.....Yeah we have "those" kinds of days for sure.
That is really great about the eliptical machine.....good luck.... Yeah I know that being over weight is part genetics but the other is what we learn from home. I know my Mom did not have the best eating habbits and I guess they got passed on to me.... I hope they learn from your new eating ways, that would be awesome. Best of luck hun ~hugs~

EArly protein drink
B 4 oz carb control yogurt, string cheese
L 1 oz porterhouse
S small piece of lettuce and avocado, 1/2 inch piece of turkey sausage
D 1 Tbs peanut butter on 4 Wheat crackers.
*today I bought my first size 14W slacks in about 20 years

Well it is Friday now... Yeah I don't worry about it being the 13th..
Congrats on the slacks hun, it sure feels good when you move lower and lower in the numbers. I am between a 16 - 14W...some things are large and extra large, now I really have to try things on...

Hi Deb-
I am falling into bad habits as I sit here worrying about my puppy. He is still not doing well and now has pneumonia.
B: Small decaf skim latte
S: South Beach Breakfast Bar
L: 1/2 of a chicken, mozzerella and red pepper sandwhich w/o bread
S: chocolat 6 small drops (ate one, then another, then another)
D: glass of white wine; slice of bread; 2 ounces of salmon; 1/4 potatoes in red wine sauce (I ate and drank together
S: decaf cappucino 2%
I know i am eating wrong-- I am totally doing the stress eating.

Yeah stress eating is so hard to deal with hun ~Hugs~ I thought he was doing better? Poor little guy....please keep us posted!
Hang in there hun and try to keep yourself busy, sometimes that helps when I want to sit and eat. ~Hugs~
