Had colonoscopy ! Thank god it os over !

Carol- I am sorry but I don't know what I was given as far as anesthesia goes. All I know is that I was out before they began anything. I would really mention to your dr how uncomfortable you were during the colonoscopy and that you are very apprehensive about the endoscopy. Tell him you really need more/different anesthesia. Carol, Hun I am sorry that you had to go through that ~Hugs~ I would make sure before he starts ANYTHING this time that you tell him you want to be OUT before they start! I have never had a colonoscopy but I do know from what I hear that it seems you are not out as much as when they do the endoscope but please make sure with your Dr before starting. I know with mine I was out and did not know anything that happened! Woke up feeling not all that bad really. Well please let us know and I am glad that is over for you and you are ONE more step closer to having your surgery. Also it is good that all is ok.. Take care Debra P

Debra, Thanks for your support ! Believe me I will not let them touch me unless I am totally out for the endo . I am scared as I heard one of the nurses say that they used the same drugs for sedation with the endo as they did the colonoscopy ! EEEEEEKKKKkk!!!! So I am going to make it clear to them that I want to be put to sleep and to not start the procedure until I am out ! I am glad that it is over though ! Sorry Carol but that sounds like it hurts.....ouch......I thought they put you to sleep to do that.....I guess not.....please do tell him that you want something stronger for your appointment on 'wed...... Christine , OH YEAH IT HURT ALRIGHT !!!!! They should have put me out but they did not ! Don't worry I will be sure and tell them I want something stronger on Wed. . They are not touching me until I am out ! Then and only then they can do the procedure ! Thanks for the hugs and kisses and for lending an ear ! I really love my family here at AMOS .
