Hi Deb. I'm so sorry this house deal fell through for you but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason - what the reason is - we might not ever know. Keep your spirits up and I'm sure the perfect house will be calling your name soon. Have a good evening. Cindee

Awww Debra! I'm so sorry to hear your dissapointing news. As others have said, there must be a good reason why this fell through. There are other fish in the sea, as they say... and one might just be swimmin' in an ocean near you right now... Hugs to you, Amy

So sorry Deb, but as you say and I believe it too, that things happen for a reason, and maybe you have something incredible waiting for you to find it. I know the money thing must really stink. Hope you find your special place soon. Shannon Arnold 257/228/130???

Debra, Sorry to hear about the house. It does suck. Obviously, there's something wrong with the septic or he'd let you go ahead & scope it. It's actually to his advantage to let you scope it, that way if there is a problem, he'll know. Either way the deal would be off. I would be thinking that this man isn't very honest & would be wondering if this is the only problem he isn't telling you about. Seriously, we live waaayyy upstate (North of Syracuse) and had a house in the country with a septic that went bad...IT WAS NOT PRETTY AT ALL.... Kind of pushed me away from septics all together. If you can find village or city sewer/water, I'd say go for that. There really is alot of maintenance that goes with a septic system. Although, if you get the right products and keep up with it, you shouldn't have any problems. Good luck & keep your chin up.... It's disappointing now, but later on you'll be thankful. Tammy
