I am in Saratoga County so probably not too bad for me (or could be worse!) LOL
I appreciate your honeslty about exercise and struggles. I saw WLS as a journey, I did what I could as time went on. I started walking only , outside a 20 min mile daily w/ mom, progressed to treadmill 30 min daily 15 min mile, added leslie sansones walk off the pounds tapes, then curves 3 days week with walking 6-7 days week, then curves 6x week and wlaking treadmill incline 6/speed 4 7days week, finally 2 yrs of curves I maxed out my benefit and got bored, treadmill went kaput so I found a gym, DH work has a full one with circuit/weights, elliptical, arctrainer, nordic track, recumbant and regular bikes, 3 treadmills withinclines/declines! and exercise balls, mats, bands etc! (a great lockerroom/sauna/hot tub!) FREE! I am wow since april 2005 been going! Now DH is hooked too! I have done a pilates 12 week class thru my local adult ed/HS $32 cheap! I thought I was inshape until i did that ! WOW! EYE OPENING. I think the think with exercise is the painis allup front, the benefit/adrenaline is later on. I kept working on it, knowing my window of opportunity for max wt loss was small (6-12mo or so) and I needed to lose all I could then, and look at it as a change my mind/attitude/life period! I am appreciative for the support online and in person groups that kept me withthis. IT IS waht I found to key my success! Keep on and the benefits will come ok! HUGS!|(*gotta get off this computer and to the gym myself!) Vary your routine also helps! Rent videos or take soem out at library, an exercise bdy helps too! It doesnt have to be 7 days a week, that is what I need for me, others do 3, 5 etc. it is about balance life balance..!
