Good morning AMOS Family I have been wondering if anyone has any information on the use of STEVIA in cooking. My nutritionist told me to use whey protein with Stevia (a natural sweetener). I have been doing some reading on it and it can be purchased at health food stores and used by diabetics. Has anyone used it in cooking or baking? I await your replies before going out and purchasing this product. I make fudge and peanut brittle and have been trying to figure out how to adapt the ingredients to sugar free. STEVIA comes in pill, powder and liquid forms, I believe. Thank you for your assistance. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. {{{{HUGS}}}} Brenda 348/250/???

Hi Brenda, I have never heard of STEVIA, so I cannot help you there. I just wanted to pop in to see how you are doing, and to say Happy New Year to you. Have a great day. SH

Unfortunately I have never cooked with Stevia. I do use it though in my oatmeal and hot drinks. I know someone who uses it alot. I will see if I can get hold of them and see if they cook with it also. Sandra

STEVIA is great and will not up your blood sugar, . You can use very little and I find it much better than artificial sweetners. It.s expensive but a little goes a long way!! Jannie
