Dr. Artuso offering FREE WLS to 10 people!

Hello everyone! Yes I know I've been MIA lately, but I do check the boards every once in a while and do miss you all very much. I hope everyone has had a wonderful Holiday Season and wish you all a happy and healthier New Year! I need to share this information with you wonderful people here who need surgery but whose insurance coverages won't pay for it or have been denied. I heard a great news on the radio this morning...There's hope for some of you... Dr. Dominick Artuso is offering FREE surgery to 10 people. There will be some sort of weigh-in drawing at Times Square in NYC on 1/1/06. The candidates must weigh AT LEAST 300LBS (be 100 lbs overweight or more). Wow Dolly - that's amazing and wonderful of you to post and wonderful of Dr. Artuso to offer. I just had my surgery by Dr. Artuso and he is terrific. Sure wish he had made this offer to me before the surgery as I was self pay. But let me tell you - it was worth every penny! Good luck to those of you who enter! Robin

dolly- i saw this on fox channel 5 news, yesterday. only draw back is the lucky 10 people might have to pay for their hospital stay which he estimated can cost up to $10,000. the doctor said he was going to try to find a hospital that wouldn't charge. but still this is a good deal for people who have trouble getting covered, the savings alone on the rny ( estimated around $50,000) would make it more than worth it. donna open rny mar 18 2003 282/143/140
