Hi Linda. THanks the pic was taken on my balcony, i live in manhattan. No i am not back at work yet, i am in the process of getting my resume together and maybe looking for per diem work. I dont want to go back full time right now, i am enjoying being a mommy right now.

Isn't that a great feeling?!?! I was able to buy size 16 jeans in NY and Company, and an xl top. The top is a little big is some areas, but fits in others......go figure. The jeans are a tad tight, but I was able to sit through a whole movie without unbuttoning them....lololol. I agree with Tavia about not buying much now. The jeans/sweaters/pants I bought in October are too big now. It is a good think I work in a different place every day, so I can repeat my clothes. Keep up the great work. SH

Hi LisaMarie, Sounds like a little shopping was just what you needed to lift your spirits and give you a boost of encouragement.I bet you feel great! I'm just waiting and hoping for the day to not have to go to the plus size section.And wear a pair of zip up jeans that are not stretch.I'm still pre op so it may be a while,but I will get there.Your doing great,so keep up the hard work! LisaMarie, my surgery is ????????????? I am seeing the nutritionist .I have saw her twice and have 2 more schedualed.then she said the next time I come in she will need to schedual a few more appointments. I kept a daily journal like she wanted and I lost 9 lbs. But I guess thats not good enough.She wants me to make better food choices and write when I ate. How long it took to eat it and exact portion size.She is a tough cookie but I gotta go through this to get my one on one with my surgeon.I go to the pyciatrist on the 3rd of January.I hope he isn't such a stickler.My primary care doc already sent in the paper work required for the surgeon .I'm just going with the flow and hoping it will all come together.I'm just afraid that the insurance company might change policies by then.I'll get there sooner or later!! YOUR looking good already and only two months post op! ITS so cool isnt it! AS for me im happy i am having a good weight loss month but mostly cause i was sick. BUT im doing awesome. TOM arrived once again a bit early but i know when he leaves he swipes off a few pounds. SO far for december i am down 11 lbs...giving me 122 lbs gone so far. SO im very happy and now that i bought some new clothes i am seeing my weight loss clearer now. I am feeling like a thin person. I havent been these numbers in years. I was about 10 lbs less then this for a short time when i first got married but it didnt last and proly came home from my honeymoon up where i am now! LOL so this is exciting for me. I cant imagine being an XXS tavia...i never was in my life, and i guess i was always labled BIG BONED, so i dont see it possible but who knows i could be wrong. Well lisa enjoy! Isn't it awesome LisaMarie. I got a few things for Christmas in XL, from a 3X. And most of them fit, not tight, they fit. I am so excited, I haven't worn XL since about 1992. Thats a long time ago. Congrats on hitting a L. I too am seeing more in the mirror than on the scale. I thought I was down about 30 lbs. but went to Dr. yesterday and am down 28.
