Dr.Geiss Patients...

Hello, My surgery date is scheduled for Jan.11th. I'm kind of confused about the pre-op diet. Some people say 2 weeks on just liquids and others say 1 week. Does anyone when have a menu or any guides lines to follow for this diet. Thanks

Hi, I wish you the best of luck w/ your upcoming surgery. I had mine w/ Dr. Geiss on Sept. 19, 2005 and it's been great. I followed what the nutritionist gave me, whether your on liquids for 2 or 1 week depends on the person, what they suggest. I was only for 1 week. Also, if you find problems with it they are very helpful finding alternatives. Just remember no 2 people are the same, so you should always check w/ the doctor's office for important matters.
