thats all. MY holiday was lovely linda and i did great with food.
i snacked on mostly the right foods and my only holiday slip was a bit of cupcake. I am proud that i lost in december which is normally in the past a gaining time for me with all the yummies around!

Lisa,
It sounds like you are finally feeling better. I'm glad to hear that. Congratulations on your Holiday eating! I should be so good! I have been grazing since Thanksgiving! I keep trying to get back on track, but if there are goodies I want them! Its crazy! Why have a potentially life threatening surgery & complications like I had & still eat? I am just one addicted chick! I hope once the holidays are over, I can do the right thing!
Linda
Part of attacking an addiction is knowing what it is. You are getting there. The holidays just makes it more difficult for us than the rest of the time. The only thing you need to change is the last sentence. Instead of saying "I hope ...." say this:
Once the holidays are over, I WILL do the right thing.
My dear friend and master hypnotist Russell Yarnell once told me: What is expected, tends to be realized. If you BELIEVE it, you are most of the way there.
Good luck and God bless!
Hi Linda,
Doesn't seem like too many people on the board today. Christmas was great - over ate a little on the Eve and felt sick but as we all know the feeling finally passed. I couldn't believe when I stepped on the scale this morning that I lost 2 lbs over the holiday - that is a 1st for me.
B - 1 cookie (oops)
L - Salad, mandarin oranges, almonds, chicken, ranch dressings (Friendly's restaurant)
D - 1 slice roast beef, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies
S - 3 cookies (bigger oops)
Back on track today.
Thanks for starting the food list Linda.

Cindee and Linda,
If you think about eating one or two cookies now, think about how many you would have eaten prior to WLS. I am still pre op, with a big ol' pre op appetite and am soooo impressed at your eating just one or two cookies. So, while I'm sure there are always better choices than cookies, don't forget to pat yourselves on the backs for just having a couple!!!
Amy
For 12/26. I've been trying to be good.
Protein Shake
B String Cheese
L 1/4 cup lasagna (no noodles)
S 1 cup chicken soup (pureed w/no vegetables)
D 3 Tbs Tuna with 2 crackers, 1/2 slice lite cheese
Christmas Eve I did have a sip of wine and a spoonful of creme brulee' from my brother's dessert. Otherwise, I did ok.
Christmas Day was uneventful as well.
Thanks Linda for posting for the food chronicles
