new here and full of hope

Hi all I am Ally, I am 36 and am hoping to be approved for WLS. I just found out I am diabetitic and have a fatty liver. I've known for years that I have PCOS and struggled with IF for years. I want to have WLS to be healthy and maybe even be able to have another child before I am too old!! Imust wait until the first of the year to get the rest of my pretesting done since I am changing insurance to UHC. (PPO??) I did a bunch of the preliminary testing already and have the support of my primary doctor so that is great. I just wanted to stop by, come out of hiding and introduce myself So a big HI!!!

Ally, Welcome A board!! Sounds like your off to a good start to wls.Having the support of your primary doctor is important.I had to find a different doctor b/c the one I had didn't want to hear anything about wls.I was so angry with him b/c I felt like he wasn't giving me the option of deciding for myself with the opinion of a wls surgeon. He was very close minded.The doctor I have now is great.SHE listens and follows through on things and is very thorough.I think you'll love this site.So many nice people and lots of imformation.See you on the board Ally!!!!
