which house is this? I know that you had made offers on 2! Is this the first one or the 2nd one? I was under the impression that you offered the asking price on the 2nd one...that's why I'm asking. I am so happy for you...buying a house is such an exciting adventure. I am actually looking forward to selling mine and starting over..I will even keep my furniture..but I want a new house! My brother is a real estate attorney here on long island and I've worked with him so I know how long it can take. I hope everything goes really smoothly for you. hugsssssssss...Linda

Linda, It is the 2nd one, and we offered less then asking and they came back with a little more and we took it. I said I would have paid full price for this one but wanted to offer less, you know how the game goes... Well we got it $3,150 lower then asking price so it is something off right. Well thanks for your caring hun and I sure hope it goes quickly but at the same time I like the fact that we are still saving money in our account like crazy and the fact that we want to wait until the snow is passed up before moving AGAIN but they as soon as we can get in, WE WILL. We are going to overlap 1 month with the house we rent and the house we purchase so we can get the hardwood floors, paining and work on the wood stove platform all done before moving all our stuff in. I will keep you posted. ~Hugs~ Debra P
