good morning Lisa... I'm so sorry that you're still feeling yucky having diarreah for that long isn't good...have you called Dr. Ahmad this morning? Maybe you should try and talk to him directly... I was lactose intolerant for the first month after surgery but now I'm fine. I drink skim milk in my protein shakes...and eat cheese. It's tought to cut out the dairy with this tool... I hope you're feeling better very very soon...try and rest and make sure you drink enough water so you don't dehydrate. hugssssssss....Linda

thanks linda I did try to phone the other day he seemed to not be interested ... told me to see the gastronologist guy he referred me to on the first. THAT was given to me for a colonoscopy check for cancer no specific reason just had alot of cancer in the background. SO he seemed to not be interested and my primary doctors attitude stunk too and he more or less told me im eating wrong foods with my surgery. AND sorry i didnt loose 117 lbs eating wrong. SO im not sure what to do. JUST tired of feeling so icky and wakeing all night to go potty. IM barely eating. HARD thanks ... lisa

Hi Lisa, I am sorry you do not feel good, that really stinks! I had problems with the runs off and on(now i have the opposite problem) and I couldn't figure it out. I tried taking dairy and coffee out to see if that would make a difference and it didnt seem to. I stopped eating the fake protein stuff (like the pudding, shakes etc) and the runs went away. That is the time when my electrolyes were all messed up. One of the only things that helps me go now is coffee mixed w/miralax. I know, gross. The GI doctor said it sounds like I have "IBS". I told him I dont have "IBS" just the "tavia needs to go to the bathroom and hasnt in four days syndrome." Sorry I know, too much info. I hope it goes aways soon though! Take care. Tavia
