Well everyone, sorry it's been so long. I'm 1 month post op and have been feeling great. No pain and no complications (thank god). Started solids on Monday and also went back to work and so far no food intolerences. I'm keeping a food log for my nutritionist she wants us to work up to 80 grams of protein a day so we don't become dependent on the shakes (which I'm not fond of). This past month I've lost around 36 - 37 lbs. depending what scale we're looking at. It feels great to be under 300. At 267 I can't believe how good I feel, I can only imagine what 150 (my goal) will feel like. I've joined a gym (Gold's Gym in Newburgh) and have been trying to go 3 times a week for around an 1 hour. I'm considering purchasing some instone pudding to help me get my protein up, if anyone has tried it please give me some feedback, I don't want to go into a platau so early if I don't get enough protein in. Thanks again you all, you've made the beginning of the journey so wonderful. Pat 303/266/150

Pat, hello again hun ~hugs~ You are doing awesome....congrats. I just love the stallone pudding myself, mine you if I did not need the protein I would not eat them but they are really good tasting and the main thing it helps with the protein. Best of luck hun ~hugs~ Debra P

I liked the instone chocolate - was like dark chocolate. You can barely taste the protein, although you are aware it's in there. I still drink my shake every day because I actually enjoy it. Guess I'm just strange that way. Good luck!
