Andrea's Update

Just a quick post on Mom... All went great with the surgery! Dr Cole and Dr McKane worked together this morning...everything went smoothly...although they did find a small hernia that needed to be repaired while they were in there. She is in ICU for the night and should be in a normal room by the afternoon tomorrow. Tonight she went for a walk and sat up for a little while...she is really doing great! I am so proud of her! She set her mind toward a new life and she is doing it! All she kept saying is "I did it" I am sure she will fill you all in on the other details of her stay at Arnot. As for a personal note from me...Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers! I know how the power of prayer works...so thank you so, so much for helping my Mom get through this smoothly! It means a lot to me! Tara

Tara Thank you for the update on your Mom. Tell her I said "Congratulations, Loser"!! We certainly do know about the power of prayer. Prayer works wonders and I am so happy everything went great for your Mom. I am sure we will be seeing each other often. Keeping you and your Mom in my thoughts and prayers. {{{{HUGS}}}} Brenda

I would just like to add- I went to visit Andrea today Wed. and met her for the first time. What a lovely lady, we talked for quite a bit, she is doing great and looks great. We had a very nice visit and hope to stay in touch with her. I wish her the very best I know she is in good hands and has great support at home.
