Drain Officially out YIPPPEEEEE

Whew, was that a weird feeling. Staples came out too. Only a little pinching, not too unbareable. Wow is all I can say about the relief as soon as I sat up and stood up. And I can see my tummy getting flatter everyday!!! I think I still have a lot of bloat in my tummy but that will work itself out. I just love my Dr. he is such a good sport. I told him I was really nervous about the drain coming out and he laughed and said oh its really nothing did the other one hurt? I said no just felt weird, and I told him I took 2 of my pain meds just before coming in so to help relax me, and I was feeling pretty good right about then, and he was laughing again. All I can say is he did an awesome job giving me a nice straight incision and I think it will heal as good or better than my c-section incision. Looks like it will be SMOOTH. Anyway, I need a drumroll please !!!!!!! I have officially entered into the LOSER side. I has been one week today. I am totally happy. Shannon Arnold 257/244/???

Shannon, YEAH you are free from that "thing"... See it does not hurt but it just feels so weird... I could almost feel a void in my tummy where that tube was once they took it out... See you worried for nothing right? Yeah me too.. 13 lbs gone forever... ~hugs~ Debra P
