I know I sent them to some of you already, but for those who have not seen then, check them out! yay! My before pics are up there as well.
My eating/sipping is kind of not so good. I do not want to get into details b/c its too frustrating for me to talk/type about. Surgeon said today to give it to friday and he will see. I am trying to be the good patient but this is so driving me crazy! He says "it will either clear up on its own soon or he will have to clear it up, either way everything will be okie dokie". All I have to say to this is Lord help me. I just want this to end and will do anything at this point. If someone told me I would get better by jumping off the brooklyn bridge I would so do it, that is how desperate I am becoming in just moving on w/my life already. Anyway, too many f-in problems, I am sick of hearing about myself. Have a good day guys!!

Tavia,
You look amazingly wonderful.
Have a quick question. You have UHC insurance. Did they give you any problems or did they approve you first time out? I am also with UHC, choice plus and cannot find anything in my plan that excludes surgery. I am hoping that overall UHC does not give too many problems.

Sandra,
Thank you!
I could not find anything in writing or on their website about WLS so I called them on the phone. They told me I just had to be morbidly obese and they would pay for 90%. I had to pay for 10% of not just the surgeon cost(who never asked me for that money by the way or any money for that matter) but the hospital room and board, radiology tests, blood work, all the medicine I recieved, all the in-house doctor visits(ICU doctors, PCP, radiologists, infectious, physical therapy etc), being in the ICU, cost of being kept alive on a respirator, I could go on and on. Because I was initially in the hospital for over a month and half from complications from the surgery I had to pay 10% of everything down to the IV bags. I still have bills I have no idea who/what they were for.
I was receiving the highest level(and most expensive level) of critical care for a few weeks. When you are in a critical state, doctors bill you for the higher level of care b/c they spend more of their time on you. That 10% grew to a very VERY large number. Being so sick not only took (obviously) a physical and emotional drain on me/my family but a HUGE financial one.
I have a PPO plan so I am not sure if its any different from yours. Good luck though!
