Never Hungry!

Hi LisaMarie, I sometimes think I have a hungry feeling when I first wake up but I can't eat or drink because it still hurts. I've been using a chocolate designer protein mix where 1/3 cup mixed in a glass of warm water (25 grams of Protein) seems to work best for me about 30 minutes after I get up. Believe it or not I got it in Walmart of all places but it's good. It's very light like skim milk. I add some Atkins chocolate flavor and get it to taste fairly decent. Two glasses of this each day gives 50 gr of Protein and it is what I do when I have days where I don't feel like eating. I do eat ground turkey and soy meat replacement things but both require alot of chewing and it's tiring as well. Sometimes I think that the chewing and then swallowing air instead of the food (cuz I'm still chewing!) gives me the gas that seems to be ever present. Gotta eat though even if it's broths and drinks. A watered down farina (4 oz) is still 20 grams of protein. That might be easier on your tummy. Linda
