I have tried room temp, iced and it still is the same. I can have anything else cold or warm ir even somewhat hot even the ice cold popsicle dont hurt. Oh well I guess I will just keep trying. Shannon, Thanks for posting hun ~Hugs~ Yeah when your at that stage there is not much you can do but try to change things up some, if you can. Right after my surgery I LOVED the popsicles, I think the cool feeling was good and almost craved them. The water will come as your pouch heals, do you drink sips? I know I once gumped and it did NOT feel so good. I wish you all the best ~Hugs~ Debra P

Nope no gulping. Little sips at a time. And yes I do crave the popsicles, they do feel really good. A little nervous about getting this drain pulled out tomorrow, staples don't bother me at all. But the drain site is sooooo tender. Oh talked to the Dr. today and he said yes I can take Gas X, Yipeeeeeeee Shannon Arnold

Shannon, I was so scared myself and it was really nothing. Just remember to take deep breaths right before and after because it does feel so weird but I did not have any pain. I worried like crazy for nothing. But then again I would worry if I had them again. That is just me... I wish you the best today, let us know how you do.... Debra P

Good evening All! Today it's 4 weeks since surgery and the eating is going very well. I've graduated myself from mushy to somewhat course foods like ground turkey and whole vegetables but I still have to chew, chew and chew some more and still take little bites. Morning eating or drinking is most difficult until my insides wake up so I warm up the chocolate protein drink a bit and it helps alot. B 10 oz protein drink no snack jus****er and tea L 2 slices American cheese and 1 slice boiled ham S 4 oz fat free milk D 3 oz ground turkey & 1 oz stewed zucchini SF popsicle and water mixed with grape Gatorade.

Linda, Hun some mornings I still have to be easy on my pouch, I don't know why but I like what you said about it waking up. I will go with that... Take care and I am glad you are doing good...~Hugs~ Debra P
