2 weeks post op
Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted since before my surgery. Everything went pretty well, some slight complications but I am home and doing okay. It has been an interesting experience, but I know I am on the road to recovery and will soon be really happy that I did this to myself!
All of you have been inspirational and knowing that you are all out there has helped me get through this.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone!
Hugs - Robin
Congrats Robin,
Glad to here you are doing better and are recovering okay now. I am just 5 days out and still in a little pain but I have NO regrets. Each day is getting easier. I still have the post op bloat so I have no losing numbers yet either, hopefully soon. But some how I already see a difference in my face. Maybe I a just dreaming but I really think I do. Best wishes to ya.

257/???/130 here I come
Hi Shannon,
I lost the bloat a week after surgery and suddenly I have really skinny ankles! It's so funny. In the hospital, I gained 20 pounds - couldn't believe how much liquid our bodies retain!
I was having major pain where my drain hole closed and ended up with an infection where the drain was. So after a slightly painful doctors visit, I think we've got the infection on the run and I see him again on Monday. That's my first weigh in. I can't wait!

Hi Neighbor!
I live at Wal-mart over there! Got a TV with a DVD player on Black Friday for $98!! I love bargains! I hate crowds though, so I sent the hubby and my son to go buy it.
I haven't been to Sam's in ages but I was thinking recently of dropping my membership at BJ's and picking one up at Sam's instead.
I would LOVE to meet you for coffee one day! I'm a JAVA junkie!! I used to find any excuse to go to Poughkeepsie just so I could have Starbuck's. Been a while now, but losing weight is a bigger thrill, so I'm ok with giving up my addictions.
Anyway, there is a cute little coffee shop in the village of Fishkill, we could meet up one day or maybe I'll have to meet you at Sam's after I join!!
Does your surgeon's office have a support group? I went to one in Valhalla, but it's so far. I found one up here in Poughkeepsie and I went once, nice group too. Your surgeon sounds familiar to me. I wonder if he ever worked in Valhalla with Dr. Cerabona (my surgeon)? I know they both went to NY Medical College.
