Tavia, I'm so glad you found out what is wrong, you must be ecstatic. Well hopefully you can get it resolved fast and painless as possible you deserve to finally get back on track and have a life again. As for laughing going into surgery, well I don't know if you remember how nervous I was about being " knocked out" because I had never been before. Well I was a laughing giggling fool, as soon as that relaxing stuff they gave me kicked in, I remember kissing my husband how was a nervous wreck and then I started being silly. He said I kept saying " Wow I'm loopy". What a cool feeling that was. I remember laughing as we were going down the hallway as the walls were moving, when we stopped to open a door, the nurse was laughing. Again I am so happy for you, have a wonderful day.
