Home from Gallbladder Surgery
Hi all,
I'm back home from my surgery yesterday. All went well. The surgeon said my gallbladder was adhered to my liver and it was like he had to chisel it free. He was able to do it lap though. I will say, this is more uncomfortable than my WLS was. I just got home a little while ago. I'm going to have some soup and go to bed for a while. Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers.
Love, Deb

Glad your home and everything went OK. I know for me , my recovery from the gallbladder was far worse than the WLS. I guess maybe because we are having surgery's soo close together. It did take me a good couple weeks to really feel good and about a full month to feel 100%. So get LOTSs of rest and keep your fluids in ya !! I hope you feel lots better soon !
Ill keep u in my thoughts and prayers Deb

Hi Deb,
Glad to hear everything went well w/your surgery. That gallbladder pain can get very nasty! Yuck. Good to hear it came out and you can start to feel better soon.
For me the gallbladder surgery was a breeze but then again I was on my fourth surgery at that point. I did not have one drop of pain meds right after that surgery, while I was in the hospital or when I went home. You know me, I am just immune to pain, oh well.
It will get easier. Get your rest and you will be up and feeling better before you know it! Moving around really does help a lot w/the pain and recovery. I know that sounds stupid but I have been there done that and it really does make you feel better. Take care.
