I HAVE A DATE !!!! I HAVE A DATE !!!!!! I HAVE A DATE !!!!!!

Hi all !!!! I have a date !!! It is set for .... April 5,2005 !!!! This is the day after my 40 th birthday !!!! Best b-day present I have ever had !!! I am so excited ! I also have completed my psych. appt. just yesterday ! All went really well ! The Dr. said that I was a well informed patient and did not forsee any problems for me as long as I followed my surgeons order's ! He is all for me getting this done ! I have also gotten my list of appts. ! They are all in this month except for one in the beginning of January ! Then they are done and all that is left for me to do is start the Medifast and lose 10% of my weight before surgery ! I will be on Medifast starting January 25 th and will remain on it for 8-weeks ! I am really nervous about that ! But I guess it will prepare me all the more for the liquid diet I will be on following surgery ...HUGH ? Thank you all for supporting me and for teaching me so much through your posting's , putting it out there for us pre op's to learn from ! You are a great bunch of people ! I am proud to be a memeber here at OH and proud that I have a new AMOS family to support me every step of the way ! I will keep you updated as much as I can ! Take Care ! and to you all ! Carol

When you are in limbo just waiting to hear something from your surgeon or other doctor's for that matter , you don't really feel that it is real yet !
